PETERSBURG AIRPORT ZONING FOR ALBERT WHITTED FIELD The height of development within four miles of Albert Whitted Field in downtown St. Petersburg is regulated by the City’s Airport Zoning Ordinance. Anyone proposing to develop any structure in excess of the height limits prescribed by the City’s Airport Zoning Ordinance is required to file for a variance. The height limits are shown on the attached map or the City’s website at www.stpete.org. Anyone seeking a variance must complete this application and provide the required exhibits as prescribed by Chapter 16, Section 16.30.010 of the City Code. A copy of the submitted FAA Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration. 4. A copy of the Notice of No Hazard to Air Navigation issued by the FAA. 5. A building elevation showing the elevation of existing grade(s), building height, and the overall height above mean sea level.
